Judging from past photos, it’s sometimes better to leave the flash off when taking photos inside a restaurant. We had lunch at Green Papaya Thai restaurant and had the Nokia N97 to take photos of the food.

While lying in bed in the trailer this morning I was browsing my RSS feeds and found a couple of Nokia N97 reviews from sites I enjoy reading. Eric Zeman posted his N97 review over on Phone Scoop while ZOMG its Cj posted their first impressions.

Watch out Twitpic! Flickr now allows its users to automatically send out a tweet whenever they upload photos through email. If you follow me on Twitter, then you probably notice I prefer to include photos with my tweets. I’ve been doing this with Twitpic on Nokia phones, but I no longer need it thanks to Flickr Twitter beta

It’s been a week since I started playing with the Nokia N97 and now it’s time for my review of the hardware. I’ve been waiting for this phone for a while and I’m excited it’s finally here.

One of my favorite things to do in Nokia devices is tweeting and sharing photos immediately from wherever I am. This is possible thanks to the “Share Online” app within the camera using a free service called Pixelpipe.

Yesterday Truphone announced (PDF file) support for several new Nokia devices and Rafe over at All About Symbian put together a great post on how Truphone can help you out. Rafe explained in detailed and straightforward terms what Truphone is and the two way Nokia owners can connect and use the service. Unfortunately, Nokia has been messing with the SIP stack on the S60 platform so VoIP is limited in some of the newer devices

Yesterday, I received a Facebook IM from Dayene asking me what I thought about the Nokia N97. Back and forth, we told each other the positives and negatives. In the middle of the conversation, she mentioned she was using Palringo on the Nokia N97 to chat with me

I’ve got a busy weekend with a soccer tourney, but thought you may enjoy knowing there is a new web browser alternative for your Nokia Internet Tablet. According to the Mozilla blog you can update to Fennec Beta 2 on your Internet Tablet (Maemo device at Beta 2) or Windows Mobile (at Alpha 2) device.

It has been a while since we had a contest here on Nokia Experts and the great folks at TeleNav (in particular Mary Beth) asked if we were interested in giving away a FULL YEAR subscription of AT&T Navigator to one lucky Nokia E71x owner. I posted my review of AT&T Navigator on my E71x and think it is a fantastic GPS voice-guided navigation solution on a solid device.
